Falling leaves A1 sheet project

During the first week of term we were asked to create something using just a sheet of A1 card, scissors and glue.



I was inspired by those flying paper people in Spirited Away. At first I was going to cut out a load of paper people, but I was convinced how good they would look, so I went for a more autumnal design.



There are 57 leaves. I could have squeezed a few more out of my A1 sheet but both my thumbs were extremely sore from all the scissoring. But I reckon the more suffering you endure for your art the better the final outcome will be. And the "Oooh I like your leaves!" I hear every time someone enters my room makes it all worthwhile.
