The pub that I have chosen for my project is The Bradgate Arms located just outside the city centre in Leicester. I chose a pub outside the city centre because it was important to me that the pub had no adjoining buildings and also had a beer garden and car park.

The pub itself has all the classic British pub characteristics that I was looking for - chalkboards, a swinging sign, a beer garden, a shit load of wooden benches, and even a door to the cellar round the side.
